Back to School!
Singing for Pleasure celebrates 'going back to school' On the 18th August children went back to school after the summer holidays and SFP decided to have their own version. Members dressed up in school ties and short skirts and each one received a little 'booty bag' at break time. All singers enjoyed a great laugh singing all their songs from childhood days.
Another
very successful ‘theme night’ was enjoyed by all the members of
SFP. In usual style, everyone showed up in country outfits
featuring denim, checked shirts, boots and hats.Throughout the evening
a variety of country songs were sung lustily and of course the
favourite dance ‘the slosh’ to Amarillo and ‘Hi Hi beautiful Sunday.

Reid and John Lennon both sang lovely solos and Ben Cheetham, our
newest member recited a very funny poem he had written about his
grandchildrren.
As usual, everyone went home uplifted and happy!
